3003 Aluminum Pipe
3003 aluminum pipes are widely used in applications that require high plasticity and excellent weldability. They are suitable for parts subjected to low loads in liquid or gas environments, such as fuel or lubricant pipelines, various liquid containers, and other small-load components that require deep drawing. They are also commonly used for rivet wiring and similar applications.

Characteristics
3003 is an Al-Mn alloy, known as one of the most commonly used rust-proof aluminum alloys. It has moderate strength (slightly higher than industrial pure aluminum) and cannot be strengthened through heat treatment. Therefore, its mechanical properties are improved by cold working or annealing. In the annealed condition, it exhibits high plasticity. When semi-cold worked, it still maintains good formability. However, when fully cold worked, its plasticity decreases. It offers good corrosion resistance and weldability, but its machinability is relatively poor.
Applications
3003 aluminum tubes have excellent formability, solubility, and corrosion resistance. They are ideal for applications requiring good forming and welding properties, especially where higher strength than 1xxx series is needed. Common uses include storage tanks for liquid products, pressure vessels, pipelines, heat sinks, cosmetic containers, photocopier drums, and shipbuilding materials.
