Chicago 2-11 Fire with mayday response 8-23-13
This message is from Eric Haak: At 6:30 PM on Friday, companies from the Chicago Fire Department's 23rd Battalion responded to a still alarm at the 8000 block of South Marquette. Upon arrival, the crews reported a fire in the rear of a 24x50, two-story ordinary building. The responding engines were 72, 46, and 126, while the trucks included Truck 49 and Tower Ladder 34. Engine 126 was nearby handling a rubbish call, which explains the three-engine response. Engines 126 and 72 (using a spare rig) along with the tower ladder were operating in Sector 1 on Marquette. The box time was recorded at 6:37 PM, as the 23rd Battalion reported heavy fire in the rear porches and attic. I could see the flames from 95th and Halsted at that point. At 6:41 PM, the roof collapsed, triggering a Mayday call, a 2-11, and an EMS Plan I. Within two minutes, Engines 72, 126, Truck 49, and Tower 34 had all completed a Personnel Accountability Report (PAR), and everyone was accounted for. The Mayday was resolved shortly after. As you look at the photos, keep in mind that this structure had a pitched roof with attic dormers, which were no longer visible by the time I arrived. I was at 95th and Ashland when the alarm was called, and it took me about 30 minutes to reach the scene. It’s always a bit frustrating to be so far away but still able to get some good shots from the distance. 3 Series Explosion-proof Coal Safety Proportional Multi-way Valve Psl Hydraulic Proportional Directional Control Valve,Hawe Valve Spools,Hawe Hydraulic Spool,Proportional Directional Control Valve Jiangsu KM Hydraulic Control Sys.Co.,Ltd , https://www.km-valves.com
