After in-depth analysis of the process conditions of Panzhihua Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., the research team focused on deoxidation and refining processes, and boldly explored the process of producing high-quality automotive gear steel by converter smelting and continuous casting. From the latest test results, the process is antegrade, the composition precision is well controlled, especially the oxidation resistance of the ladle slag is effectively controlled, and the total oxygen control of the slab reaches the domestic leading level.
