The failure of the motorcycle engine carburetor can be judged from the color of the spark plug electrode. After the flammable mixture atomized by the motorcycle carburetor is burned in the engine cylinder, most of the exhaust gas is sent out through the exhaust pipe, and a small amount of exhaust gas residue adheres around the spark plug electrode insulator, which is a mixture. Confirmation of the burning condition in the engine cylinder.

The specific judgment method is as follows:
1) Remove the spark plug. If the spark plug electrode is found to be grayish white, the engine mixture is too lean. You can screw the carburetor air screw in half a turn (to wait for the vacuum carburetor, and retract the air screw half a turn to one turn). If the color of the spark plug electrode does not change much, the floater chamber of the carburetor should be removed, and the height of the carburetor float should be lowered by 1~1.5mm to increase the oil level of the carburetor. The color of the spark plug changes to rust red, indicating that the concentration of the mixture is just right.

2) When the color of the spark plug electrode is carbon black and there is carbon deposit on the spark plug, it indicates that the mixture is too rich. First check the filter element of the air filter of the motorcycle. If it is clogged, clean or replace the filter element of the air filter. Check the color of the spark plug electrode after the test. When the color of the spark plug electrode does not change, the carburetor can be removed, and the latch on the main oil needle ring groove is adjusted upward by 1~2 grids. For the national three cars, the oil needle of the national three carburetor is not adjustable. The user must ask the dealer for the purchase or purchase of the special oil needle, or replace the floater chamber of the carburetor, and increase the float height of the carburetor by 1~1.5mm, so that the carburetor float chamber The oil level is reduced by 1~1.5mm.

3) When the spark plug of the engine is removed, if the color of the electrode is brownish red or rust color, the concentration of the carburetor mixture is normal.
