Sustainability in Action: Autodesk commits to 100% renewable energy

By Lynelle Cameron, Senior Director, Sustainability

It's time to take action. Today marks the release of our 7th sustainability report, *Sustainability in Action 2015*. But as we face growing environmental challenges, it’s no longer enough to just report on progress—we need to lead with bold, measurable commitments.

That’s why today, Autodesk is making a powerful commitment: to power our entire business with 100% renewable energy. This isn’t just a goal—it’s a step toward a more sustainable future for all of us.

I believe 2015 will be the year that real climate action begins. Individuals, companies, governments, and investors are finally coming together to address the most urgent challenge of our time—climate change. And no issue requires more collaboration across sectors than this one. By committing to 100% renewable energy, we’re helping to drive that momentum forward.

Our journey toward sustainability has been marked by real progress over the past year. We’ve:

  • Launched new sustainability-focused tools for buildings, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
  • Expanded our Cleantech Partner Program into China, one of the fastest-growing markets for clean technology.
  • Founded the Autodesk Foundation, which invests in people and organizations using design to solve global challenges.
  • Earned our 19th LEED certification, covering 32% of our total office space.
  • Reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 27% since 2009, staying on track with science-based targets set by C-FACT.

Every step we take brings us closer to bolder goals. Committing to 100% renewable energy isn’t just about reducing our own impact—it’s about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible and helping scale clean energy solutions globally.

This December, world leaders will gather at COP21 in Paris to shape a new global climate agreement. Companies like ours are joining forces with nonprofits and governments to advocate for a future powered by clean energy. As part of this movement, we’ve joined RE100, a global initiative led by The Climate Group, to support corporate climate action ahead of the conference.

We also recognize the critical role local governments play. In California, where we’re based, cities like San Francisco are leading the way in promoting sustainable development. As the City of San Francisco hosts the 83rd annual Conference of Mayors later this month, we’re excited to collaborate on building resilient, low-carbon cities and clean transportation systems. Our 100% renewable energy commitment aligns with San Francisco’s 0-50-100 Roots Climate Action goals and supports similar efforts around the world.

Finally, I’m deeply inspired by our customers, who are using design to create better, more sustainable solutions. From WindPax’s affordable clean energy projects in developing regions to QBotix’s solar tracking systems, the design-led revolution is accelerating—and it’s changing the way we make things for the better.

The future of innovation lies in working within planetary boundaries. That’s why we’re committed to 100% renewable energy. Join us in building a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable world.

Processing According to Drawings

DAYUE can customize mold parts according to customer needs, which is what we are very good at. We produce 1:1 according to the customer's drawings. According to the material and coating specified by the customer, and the shape of the part can be selected, such as square punch, oval punch, hexagonal punch and so on.
DAYUE has 7 production lines for mold parts, they are composed of CNC Turning process, CNC Milling process, CNC grinding process, EDM process, wire END and hard material turning, so we are very good at customizing the drawings.

Our company focuses on the development and processing of non-standard equipment, manufacturing and processing finished products according to the drawings provided by customers, to meet customer needs, and about 20,000 different types of precision parts can be customized every month.
We have advanced processing machinery and processing technology, combine traditional high-precision processing with professional technology, and develop into a tooling fixture for mechanical parts design and precision processing services, thus ensuring the high efficiency and high quality of molds and products Precision, process performance, output and production cycle. Relying on professional technology, we provide multi-functional equipment to meet the most diverse customer needs, and provide more convenient and higher-quality intimate services for different groups of users.
