Here are additional photos from the fire scene in Hickory Hills, captured at the Camelot Banquet Hall. The fire has left a devastating mark on the venue, which had recently undergone renovations. It’s heartbreaking to see such a beautiful space now in ruins.

I took these photos after the fire at Camelot Banquets in Hickory Hills. It's a huge loss for the family who owned the place. The building was remodeled not too long ago, and it looked great before the incident. When I was taking pictures, the owners' family members arrived to assess the damage. They were also boarding up the windows at the time. There's significant destruction in the center of the building, including a large hole in the roof. From what I remember, that area might have been the kitchen or near it—though my memory isn't perfect, as it's been over five years since I last visited. They served excellent Polish food, and I hope the family can rebuild soon. Special thanks to my friend Caroline Juchas for sharing one of her photos.
