**1. Multi-Media Filter**
The multi-media filter is widely used in drinking water treatment to remove various particles such as suspended solids, colloids, and more. It ensures that the filtered water has a TDS level below 5, reducing the load on downstream fine filters.
**2. Diffuser**
A diffuser is installed in the filter to evenly distribute compressed air and water during backwashing and water distribution.
**3. Activated Carbon Filter**
This key device is used for removing organic substances, heavy metals, suspended solids, and residual chlorine. It effectively reduces COD levels and improves water taste. The system is a pressure filter, using quartz and coconut shell activated carbon beds. Each tank is made of FRP material with vent and drain valves.
**4. Security Filter (Cartridge Filters)**
The security filter is an essential part of the system. It uses one set of stainless steel filters with 5 pieces of 5μ polypropylene cartridges, filtering most particles in the water and reducing the load on the RO membrane. The support layer is made of stainless steel 304, offering compact structure, good filtration accuracy, and long service life.
**5. Reverse Osmosis Modules (RO)**
The RO system is the core of the water treatment process, commonly used for producing pure and drinking water. By applying pressure on one side of a selective membrane, it removes large molecules and ions from the solution. This results in the retention of solutes like iron, viruses, bacteria, and solids on the pressurized side, while pure solvent passes through.
**6. Piping, Valves & Fittings**
All piping, valves, and fittings are made of SS304. The RO modules are equipped with sample valves for easy checking of product water.
**7. Control Devices**
The entire system is automated using a PLC programmer, sensors, and data collectors. The system can be monitored remotely, and it automatically stops when the product water tank is full or starts when the water level is low.
