January car engine production and sales dropped sharply

Compared with the double-digit increase in both sales and sales volume in January 2011, the automotive and engine markets in January 2012 saw a year-on-year decline in the first year of the year. In terms of production scale, the number of enterprises with a production volume of more than 10,000 units in January was 39, a decrease of 5 from the same period of the previous year; the number of enterprises with a production volume of more than 20,000 units in a single month in January was 21, compared with the previous year. In the same period, there was a drastic reduction of 13; the number of companies with production capacity of more than 30,000 units was 14 and there was a sharp decrease of 10 companies over the same period of last year; there were 10 companies with production capacity of more than 40,000 units, which was 5 less than the same period of last year The number of companies with a production volume of more than 50,000 units was six, a decrease of four from the same period of last year. In terms of production concentration, the production concentration of the top five production enterprises was 27.76%, which was 2.57 percentage points higher than the corresponding period of 2011; the production concentration of the top 12 companies was 53.05%, 4.69 higher than the same period in 2011 percentage point. The production and sales of vehicle diesel engines fell by nearly half year-on-year for diesel engines. The sales of gasoline engine for gasoline engines have fallen by 300,000 gasoline engine units.
