When the Autodesk Gallery first opened its doors in 2008, it became San Francisco’s first dedicated space for design and innovation. It showcased how Autodesk technology was shaping the future of creation and problem-solving across industries. Over the past decade, the pace of innovation has only accelerated, with digitization transforming every sector. Today, Autodesk customers rely on our tools to tackle some of the world's most pressing challenges, and together, we continue to work toward a better, more sustainable future.
We are thrilled to unveil the completely reimagined Autodesk Gallery, now located at One Market in San Francisco. Following a major renovation and expansion completed in December 2021, the gallery offers a fresh and dynamic experience that highlights the power of design and technology. The new space is designed to inspire, engage, and connect visitors with the creative minds behind groundbreaking projects.
**The Autodesk Gallery: Immersive, Interactive, and Anchored in the New Possible**
In September 2021, Autodesk launched its new brand — bold, optimistic, and action-driven. As a physical representation of this vision, the gallery serves as a space where visitors can see the impact of design and technology in real time. It’s a place to reflect on what’s possible today and imagine what could be tomorrow.
The renovation process wasn’t without its challenges. The global pandemic introduced unexpected hurdles, but it also reinforced the importance of adaptability and resilience — values that mirror those of our customers. Throughout the project, safety was a top priority. Our team used Autodesk tools like BIM 360, Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks to manage the construction process remotely, ensuring both efficiency and compliance with health guidelines.
The gallery also incorporated new design elements to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for future visitors. Touch-free buttons, sensor-activated interactive displays, and other features were added to support health and safety.
The gallery will open for select tours and events in 2022. In the meantime, take a virtual tour of this inspiring space and discover the innovative experiences it has to offer.
**Entering the World of Autodesk**
As you step off the elevator, you're immediately immersed in the spirit of the new Autodesk Gallery. At one end of the lobby, a large-scale video showcases the breadth of Autodesk’s capabilities and the impact of our customers' work. On the other side, a sleek reception desk leads guests to a striking visual representation of our new logo.

**Autodesk Gallery Exhibits and Experiences**
At the heart of the gallery is a celebration of the incredible work being done by Autodesk customers across industries. Alongside Autodesk-focused exhibits, there are 13 customer stories that highlight cutting-edge solutions, breakthrough innovations, and forward-thinking visions for the future.
One such story is **Build Change**, a nonprofit using Autodesk technology to help communities rebuild after natural disasters. Another is **LAIKA**, an animation studio that brings films to life with the help of Autodesk tools. **NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory** used generative design to optimize a spacecraft, while **Hyundai** developed a groundbreaking mobility vehicle prototype.
**Perkins & Will** showcased how Autodesk technology enabled the design of an innovative timber structure, exploring robotic construction and prefabrication.
The gallery also features three immersive Autodesk experiences:
- **Spectrum** celebrates the people behind the innovation with interactive portraits.
- **Prism** acts as a central hub where visitors can engage in multi-choice questions and explore customer stories.
- **Future Communities**, created in partnership with the Smithsonian, invites guests to collaborate with AI to design a resilient, sustainable community.
In addition to these exhibits, the gallery includes a **Executive Briefing Center** and a **dedicated event space**, offering a VIP experience and flexibility for various gatherings.
