A robotic arm then clamps the bottles onto a rotating drum, turning them 180 degrees. As the drum rotates clockwise, six lower spray nozzles (steam tubes) insert into the bottles in sequence. The cleaning cycle includes two water rinses, one compressed air blow, followed by two purified compressed air cleans, and finally a water jet wash inside the bottle. Once the cleaning is complete, the robotic arm rotates the bottle upright and transfers it to the tunnel oven.
