Dana's new CEO Roger Wood visits Dongfeng to deepen Dongfeng Dana Axle cooperation

On June 3, 2011, Tong Dongcheng, deputy general manager of Dongfeng Corporation, met with Roger Wood, CEO of the visiting Dana Corporation, and Aziz Agari, President of Asia Pacific.
Tong Dongcheng expressed his welcome to Roger Wood for his first visit to Dongfeng after he was Dana’s CEO, and briefed Roger Wood on Dongfeng’s recent operations and mid-term development goals. Tong Dongcheng said that the cooperation between Dongfeng and Dana experienced a very unusual course and he hoped that Dongfeng Dana Axle Co., Ltd. would create better benefits with the strong support of both shareholders. Given the broad prospects for the development of the Chinese market, Dongfeng expects that the future cooperation between the two sides will be even broader.
Roger Wood and his party congratulated Dongfeng on its excellent operating performance in 2010 and introduced Dana’s overall layout and related business development in China. Roger Wood said that through this meeting, both sides have more specific and in-depth understanding of each other, and they are very much looking forward to the further deepening of their future cooperation so as to achieve a win-win situation. He said that Dana will further increase its support for the Dongfeng Dana Axle. Dana is confident in the development of Dongfeng Dana Axle.
After the talks, Tong Dongcheng presented Dongfeng Tianjin car model to Roger Wood. Li Jingqiao, party secretary of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd., Huang Jiarong, general manager of Dongfeng Dana Axle, and Han Sheng, executive deputy general manager, attended the meeting. 
It is reported that Dana Corporation has earlier appointed Borg Warner Executive Vice President Roger Wood as the new CEO of Dana.
John Devine, Dana’s former president and chief executive officer, retired in June 2011 and Wood took over as CEO. And DeVine’s post-resignation chairmanship was chaired by Keith Waddell, CEO of American locomotive giant Harley-Davidson Inc.
