China's construction of concrete mixers for the first time equipped with retarder

Recently, Shenzhen Terjia Technology Co., Ltd. successfully tested its M7-35 eddy current retarder on a concrete mixer produced by Sany Heavy Industry Group. The results were impressive—this new technology significantly improves braking performance and enhances safety during operation.
According to the project manager at Sany Heavy Industry Group, concrete mixer trucks often face serious brake wear due to frequent or prolonged braking, especially under heavy loads. These vehicles typically operate in challenging conditions, requiring drivers to be highly attentive. However, cost constraints in the past prevented the widespread installation of retarders in local models.
The M7-35 eddy current retarder, developed specifically for heavy-duty vehicles weighing over 30 tons, offers more than just improved safety. It also helps reduce driver fatigue by providing additional braking support, making long-haul operations less strenuous. This innovation marks a significant step forward in the industry.
