The container is divided into two sections by a flexible membrane — one filled with compressible nitrogen gas, and the other through which the liquid flows. This design allows for easy maintenance and long-term stable operation.

Where to Install a Pulsation Dampener?

For optimal performance, install the dampener at the beginning of the pipe where flow must be forced, or use it to reduce suction side acceleration head loss. It should be placed after the suction supply line, at the inlet check valve of the pump. Generally, it's best to install it as close to the pulsation source as possible.
