25.4mm Stainless Steel Sanitary Mixproof Valve with SMC Solenoid valve

Concept
The SMP-BC is a sanitary pneumatic seat valve designed for safety and leak detection when two different products flow through only one valve. It is commonly used in CIP return lines or systems without pressure spikes, offering enhanced safety through leakage detection.

Working Principle
The SMP-BC is remotely controlled using compressed air and operates as a normally closed (NC) valve. It is equipped with two small pneumatic normally open (NO) valves: a detecting valve and a CIP valve. The valve plug, which is the upper plug in a change-over valve, has two seals that create a leakage chamber under atmospheric pressure between them. Any leaking product flows into this chamber and is discharged through the detecting valve. The valve can be cleaned via CIP by supplying compressed air to the actuator. During cleaning, the flow pattern against the closing direction of the valve plug makes it insensitive to water hammer.
