At the beginning of the 2013 New Year, the AQSIQ has heard good news. Changchai Co., Ltd. has passed the national export exemption site inspection and will become the first mechanical and electrical enterprise in Changzhou to be exempted from inspection as the highest honor of this export product.

Export exemption is considered a "Made in China" Gold Pass. Enterprises that have obtained such qualifications can only go through the formalities for release through exemption verification documents, foreign trade contracts, and factory product qualification certificates until they are examined by the inspection and quarantine agency, thus exempting inspection fees and greatly increasing the speed of customs clearance. However, the state’s review of export exempt companies is extremely strict. There are only about 160 export-inspection companies nationwide.

There are more than 370 agricultural equipment and its supporting enterprises in Changzhou, with a total output value of more than 23 billion yuan, of which the total output of single-cylinder diesel engines is about 4 million, accounting for more than 50% of the total output of the country, and Changchai is more than 1.2 million units. The output ranks the leading position in the Xiaochai industry in the country.
