Steering pump is the power source for car steering. At present, the major domestic models such as Jiefang, Dongfeng, Great Wall pickup, and Jinbei coaches all use blade-type power steering pumps. The steering pump is equipped with a flow control valve and a safety valve, which is small in size, light in weight, and simple in system connection. The disadvantage is that the noise is large.

1: The main reason for the noise generated by the steering pump is that air is mixed in the system. Especially in the oil suction area of ​​the hydraulic pump, due to the low pressure, holes are easily generated. That is, the volume of the bubbles is compressed in the high pressure area, and the volume suddenly increases in the low pressure area. , an explosion that creates noise. Therefore, when the oil inlet pipe is installed, it must be sealed reliably to prevent looseness of the joint due to vibration; the sealing material must be very reliable, and the oil tank must have sufficient hydraulic oil.

2: The second reason for steering pump noise is failure of flow control valve, such as improper matching of valve hole and valve core, pulling of valve hole, contamination between safety valve and valve seat, sealing gasket is not round or notched, etc. Can cause noise. Especially when the control valve is working, the system pressure transients, which makes the control valve spring fatigue deformation failure, which will aggravate the noise. Therefore, check the use of the control valve, check whether the mating parts wear, pull hair, check the failure of the spring, if necessary, replace these parts.

3: The third cause of steering pump noise is caused by mechanical vibration. Therefore, when installing the steering pump, make sure that the coaxial error of the pump shaft and the main unit is less than 0.1mm, the inclination is less than 30, and the connecting pipeline should not be too thin or too long to minimize the elbow and avoid liquid eddy current. The steering pump speed should not be too high to avoid damage to the bearings.
