Since 2012, iChoosr has partnered with councils and other community leaders in the UK to organize renewable energy schemes. How does the auction work? It's a reverse auction, meaning the bidder with the lowest price wins! The winning bid sets the price for all solar and storage systems within the scheme. All installers have been pre-vetted and must meet specific criteria to ensure the quality of the service.
The selection process culminates on auction day when qualified installers submit bids for pricing systems ranging from 4 to 50 panels and different-sized battery storage options. Through this process, we can secure the best possible total price for a complete solar panel system with guaranteed quality.
We only work with pre-vetted and certified installers. Every solar panel package installed through the group-buying scheme will be supplied and installed by reliable and experienced MCS-certified solar panel installers with a proven track record of delivering high-quality installations.
To secure an attractive price, we organize an auction for selected installers. These participating installers are thoroughly screened in advance for management, expertise, experience, financial stability, and customer service.
iChoosr works with industry experts to define detailed product requirements for all materials used in a Solar Together installation. We allow participating installers to choose which brands they will use; however, they must specify upfront which brands will be utilized. They are obligated to adhere to the fixed conditions set by iChoosr to ensure product quality.
Customers will be aware of the brands being offered before deciding to proceed with the installation and can access downloadable product specification documentation.
The group-buying offer is a comprehensive package, including insurance-backed guarantees, installation, and monitoring systems. These considerations provide you with peace of mind.

You’ll be informed of any unusual circumstances that may require additional fees based on the information you’ve provided. After the roof survey, the installer will confirm the exact amount of additional costs.
