To streamline the entry process for "Green Passage" vessels, the Finance Department of the Nanjing Maritime Safety Administration has collaborated closely with the business department to support shipping companies in settling port charges efficiently. Each month, the finance team reviews and compiles the settlement applications submitted by shipping companies, ensuring compliance with established regulations. For high-credit companies that have been pre-approved, the process is significantly simplified to enhance convenience and speed. As of now, the bureau has signed port settlement agreements with a total of 32 vessels from three major shipping companies. These agreements have enabled the implementation of streamlined charging procedures, improving operational efficiency and reducing administrative burdens. This initiative not only supports the smooth operation of maritime trade but also strengthens the trust between the administration and the shipping industry. The goal is to create a more transparent, efficient, and cooperative environment for all stakeholders involved in port operations.
