This technology allows heavily polluting iron ore tailings waste to treasure. At present, this technical achievement has applied for registration of the national A-level patent.

Qian'an City, where Tangshan Xiexing Cement Co., Ltd. is located, is known as “Tie Qian’an”. The city has more than 200 large and small iron ore mines, processing more than 14 million tons of iron ore annually and producing more than 4.5 million tons of iron concentrate. The annual discharge of tailings sand is nearly 7 million tons, which not only causes serious pollution to the local environment and rivers, but also builds tailings dams to occupy more than 2,000 acres of cultivated land. In June 2001, Tangshan Xiexing Cement Factory developed a special scientific research team to conduct sampling and testing, small grinding test and industrial test on the tailings discharged from the subway mine. It was successful at the end of the month and a production license was obtained in early 2002. At the same time, the company invested 200 million yuan, and the daily production of 2,000 tons of new cement production line was approved by the Hebei Provincial Economic and Trade Commission.

After the technology is put into production, it can make full use of abandoned tailings sand, reduce environmental pollution, save a lot of clay and mine resources, and reduce the cost of cement tons of clinker by 2-3 yuan; the compressive strength of clinker in 28 days is increased by 3-5Mpa. It can reduce the comprehensive cost of tons by more than 100,000 yuan. It is estimated that: Qian'an city in cement production above 70 million tons, if the use of tailings, coal ash powder as raw materials, annual savings of more than 50 acres of land, saving more than 30,000 tons of iron ore, by the economic and social Double benefits.
