Small and decentralized are the main characteristics of China's packaging companies. 20% of the company's annual sales are between several million and 20 million, while the rest are less than 1 million. The competition in this industry is relatively fierce. Nearly 10% of the companies convert or close each year, but another 20 companies join the industry and are extremely unstable. At the same time, there are unfair competition among industries, and a large number of repetitively produced mechanical products with low cost, relatively inferior technological level, and low technological content have caused great waste of resources, leading to chaos in the packaging market and severely constraining the development of the industry.
