Boron production layout

Northeast China is the main production base of boron ore, ore of boron, borax, boric acid and other boron products backbone enterprises are basically concentrated in the region. In recent years, with the market of borax and boric acid products, most of the boron mines in the region have established borax (or boric acid) production plants. In the area, there are Kuandian Mine, 501 Boron Mine, Wengquangou Mine, Fengcheng Boron Mine, Ji'an Boron Mine, etc. In many places, township and even individual boron mine enterprises have also established boron production plants such as borax. There are also Yingkou Chemical Plant, Kaiyuan Chemical Plant, Liaoyang Metallurgical Chemical Plant, Yingkou Water Separation Chemical Plant, Fengcheng County Fertilizer Plant, Kuandian Borax Plant, Jilin Tonghua Meida Chemical Co., Ltd., Mudanjiang Chemical Second Plant, etc. The local boron ore is used as a raw material to produce borax and/or boric acid.

In addition to the northeast region, there are many borax and/or boric acid production plants of different sizes in other regions, such as Shanghai Jiading Borax Factory, Zhangjiakou Chemical Plant, and Dahai Chai Chemical Plant of Haixi Prefecture in Qinghai Province.
