The Chengdu Engine Factory commenced on July 16, 2011. It covers a total area of ​​160,000 square meters and employs 900 people. It mainly produces the Volkswagen EA211 series engines with two displacements of 1.4L and 1.6L, and an annual production capacity of 450,000 units. Can also be equipped with blue drive technology, which can also provide support for the German public Constance.
It is reported that the EA211 engine will be used in new Jetta, Bora and Sagitar and other models, the current daily production capacity has been increased to 1,500.
